How To Prepare

Dear Client:

The session is as good as your ability to know your family and friends who have passed.  We try to explain several times the importance of doing the following, ESPECIALLY the writing of friends and family homework.  However, we find only 5% or less actually do this.  Make your session as positive as possible and take the time needed to prepare yourself.  I have done thousands of these readings and find that the individuals that do their part enjoy themself more and have a much better experience.

The following guidelines will help make the most out of your session. Consider printing this page and reviewing it right away and just prior to your reading. Your are apart of this experience so please prepare yourself the best that you can.

How To Prepare Before a Session

Here are ten steps that can improve your reading experience:

  1. Keep an Open Mind – Keep an open mind, but having some skepticism is healthy.

  2. Research Your Facts –  Prior to your appointment WRITE DOWN as much about your family so you can validate the information. DOB, dates of passing, number of children, how they passed, names and include ALL family; ex-spouses, step family, those you loved and didn't love so much, friends from school the and old neighborhood, co-workers. Bottom line, don't excluded anyone because you don't think they will show up.  You will be surprised who arrives! Also, write down questions prior to appointment. If you don't know some of the information, don't worry about it.

  3. Don't Take Control – Don't expect those who have crossed to talk about what you want to hear.

  4. Listen, – Try to listen and don't add information during a reading unless asked.

  5. Save Your Questions – If possible save questions until the end.

  6. Don't Tell – Do not tell the medium who you want to connect with, that is my job.

  7. Connect Beforehand – Before your reading, mentally ask your loved one to meet us at the time of your session.

  8. Be Open to Anyone – Know that pets, friends, friends of friends, neighbors, a boss, a loss of a pregnancy, and even relatives you may have never met, may be in some way connected to you may come through. If you have been married more than once, these relatives can also come to your session, whether you want to hear from them or NOT!  There is also no time limit of how long a loved has been gone...they can still come through. This will help validate the session and let you know that this is their way of connecting. Unfortunately, they do not RSVP. So be open to anyone showing up.

  9. Take Notes – Taking notes during a session is advisable. You won't remember everything because this can be an emotional experience. Also, if you can't validate what is being told, you can research with family or friends to confirm the information.  You can also bring a tape recorder.  Please, no video recorders.

  10. Seek Assistance – Remember that a reading is only to help you know that the one you miss is still connected to you and your life. It is always recommended to seek the help of a professional counselor or an organization to help with grief.

Additional Information:

  1. Drinking lots of water can be helpful after a session along with a little time to process.  If your schedule allows, taking the day off or even a little time for yourself can be very beneficial.
  2. Cash or check can be paid at the time of the appointment.  If you would like to pay by credit card, we will provide this information by using PayPal.  This is required before the appointment takes place.
  3. We provide telephone readings through-out the country and locally.  These readings are schedule the same as any session in person.  However, payment is required to be in hand prior to the session.  Checks will not be cashed until after the reading.

Most people are nervous, but I promise to make your experience as comfortable as possible. This can help assist you in grief and changing the way you see life.
